MT. VERNON HAS A NATIONAL CHAMPION IN GOLF. FLORIDA SOUTHERN JUNIOR T.T. CROUCH BECAME THE 7TH FLORIDA SOUTHERN GOLFER TO WIN AN INDIVIDUAL NATIONAL TITLE. IN YESTERDAY’S ROUND,THE FORMER YELLOW JACKET SHOT A 2 UNDER PAR 69 TO FINISH WITH A 54 HOLE TOTAL OF 211 TO WIN THE DIVISION II NATIONAL TITLE.

In high school baseball, the Green Wave of Newark Catholic won a District Final yesterday defeating Worthington Christian 14-4.
